New York Rangers Official App App Reviews

I hope this was made by some staffers nephew or something. Absolutely terrible.

This class is gonna be great the topic is interesting, we go on field trips every other week basically and the professor is great, interesting story, he grew up in England and remembers the Irish Republican Army bombing buildings in his town

The old version was leaps and bounds above this one. It refreshes info hours late. The games in progress are minutes behind. The schedule is in list form instead of calendar. I could go on for days complaining...even the standings are limited to division and conference. Just horrible.

You took an awesome app and totally ruined it. The old one sent reminders before game starts, updates during every game, you could save info on your favorite player. It was all a Ranger Fan could want. Info everywhere on every player. Now its just garbage. Please bring back the old app!!!

If youre going to overhaul your app at least make it better than the previous version! The Rangers app is now unwieldy, slow, requires an extra step just to get in (login via Facebook... Why???.. Surely that should be an optional step once Im already in the app, not something I have to accept or skip before Im even in!). The pages and rendering of standings falls off the screen, now we need to scroll to see everything which wasnt the case before. These are minor details, to be fair, but the app is now SO much worse than before.. By all means freshen things up but dont make the app a whole lot worse than its predecessor.

I had trouble giving this 1 star. I have been using previous version for a couple of years, very functional. This new version is a convoluted mess, nothing is easy. It is clogged up with MSG BS. Used to be able to access roster standings, last game etc. now this stuff is either unavailable or or its so buried in stuff you dont need you cant find it. Not to mention the facebook tie in....the NHL app is a better place for ranger fans. I deleted this POS app and recommend you dont even bother to download this mess

This app got so bad that I had to delete it. Its not a Rangers app anymore, its an MSG app. Why does it have a map of the Garden but not a full season schedule? I cant even find the time of a game or the score easily anymore. On top of that it always asks me to sign in every time I open it and it uses location services for reasons I still have yet to figure out. I ended up just deleting this and downloading NHL Gamecenter instead.

Each update releases something exclusive for msg attendees. Make a separate msg app. I want less photos and videos. I want a calendar display of games. I want faster access to read articles without sorting through photos and videos. And, I want the iPad app back. This thing should really not have regressed to iPhone only. More of your fans are wanting this pretty app to be useful for them when they arent at or anywhere remotely near msg.

This app is horrible. Out of all the changes and updates to the rangers app through the years this is by far the worst!!! The last version of the app was so much better. I hate this twitter nonsense. The settings dont work either. I really hope they change this soon.

This is perhaps the worst app in professional sports. No news & dated info. Not even going into the fact that there isnt even an iPad app. Just awful.

Please put back the old schedule/win,loss score calendar.

This app is amazingly solid , no crashes at all!! And it has great features the only thing that could make this better if I could watch the games but oh well

Does everything it should. The updates have made it better & better. Would love a "classic moments" sections with videos. Just a wish.

I had this app back before they redid everything. I loved it. Everyone complained about the new version but nothing has been fixed. There is no longer a useable user-friendly schedule. Ive repeatedly set it to send me game alerts and it wont. Furthermore, I couldnt care less about twitter updates. Bring back something I can use.

Its amazing to me how they can actually change what was once a good app to a terrible app. The Rangers app before this was awesome. Then someone came up with the brilliant idea to change the app and came up with this garbage. This is a terrible app, it cant even compare to the original app. I am very disappointed that a great organization like the Rangers would have such a second rate app.

Id like to start off saying that this is an amazing app! Especially for the amazing rangers that will surely win the Stanley cup finals next year! And this app keeps me updated with everything including the minor things! Go Rangerstown!

This is not a great app. If u r looking for just NYR propaganda it is fine. But as for functionality like transferring your tickets no! You have last years schedule for tickets!!!! Are u serious??? Fix this!!!

The old app one touch and there. Team roster is virtually impossible to find with new app. Schedule format brutal. What happened to calendar view? Painful to say the least. Wish there was another option.

Completely and totally broken/not functioning on iOS 6 using an iPad 2? Thats my experience so far since updating just the other day.
