Not sure what they did... The app was perfect as is, now its just an extension of nhl.com. Slow, sloppy, and not user friendly at all.

The old app actually had content not found on the NHL app. It allowed me to listen to games. I listened to the playoffs in London a few years ago. I tried to listen recently and no luck. I enjoyed the extra interviews the old app had. It was for fans! I rarely used the NHL app and see little use for it for Rangers content. I am extremely disappointed. As a season ticket holder for years I view this as a slap in the face!

Why not just remove this app from the App Store because thats basically what this update did. Its now just another way to open the awful NHL app. Please bring back the old format!!

I absolutely hate this new app. Content from the older Rangers app couldnt be found in NHL. Able to listen to games easier fro the older app. Its pointless to have both apps when one sends you to the other. Not a fan and will be deleting both. Not happy

Im a Rangers fan not an NHL fan. The reason I got the Rangers app was it was ALL Rangers. It gave times, AND channels as well as pregame notes and post game notes. Quick easy access to all things Rangers. NHL app does not. No channel listing. Hated the NHL app before, hate it now.

Old app was great for rangers info. Going straight to the NHL app is a big downgrade. Theres very little Rangers content and if you go to the roster tab you then can not maneuver to anywhere else in the app without restarting the app. Very disappointing if one is a Rangers fan

This app deserves ZERO STARS!! NHL has completely destroyed a great app! How is it possible that the current NY Rangers roster is not even on this app?!!

Bring back the older version of the app please! All this one does is force you to download the NHL app, which is fine, but makes this app completely obsolete. I still get Rangers notifications from this app as well as the NHL app so its really annoying. Deleting this app and just keeping the NHL app. Although I wish it was the other way around.

Easily the dumbest update theyve done. Theres no point in having the Rangers app since it automatically opens the NHL app. And the NHL app doesnt have anywhere near the amount of content as the Rangers app did.

Honestly it used to be so good and as a big Rangers fan I loved it. The change is not needed and annoys me

So now we are forced to DL the NHL app when the regular rangers app last year was 1000 times better with news scores and highlights. Id give it a zero. Deleting both apps. TERRIBLE

The original Rangers app was great, with lots of insider features. The update to go directly to the NHL app is worthless. BRING BACK THE OLD APP, please !

Why the in the holy hell did you make the Rangers app just a part of the NHL app? Why??? I dont want the NHL app. I want the Rangers app. The content is now watered down and generalized. I will NOT be downloading the NHL app at all and will delete the Rangers since it no longer does anything. Way to ruin a good thing.

Was one of most used apps. Obvious they want to phase it out for use of another. So I am deleting. Will use website instead.

As others have pointed out, this just launches the NHL app now. Reminiscent of when the NHL took over all team websites last decade and forced them to redirect to NHL.com; looks like the NHL has done it again: "The NHL® App is now the official app of your favorite team" is the new tag line. God forbid, a team offers differentiation with unique content or better experience.

Would give this zero if I could. Restore the old Rangers app.

There is no longer a NY Rangers app. This apps sole purpose is to get you to download the NHL app which in my opinion is crap(some features of this app require a subscription, really!!)

Bring back the old app. This is terrible. All I want is NYR info and I dont want to be transferred to the NHL app. Why?

What a horrible disappointment. I did not love last version, but now being forced to NHL app is just unacceptable. Deleting app. Dont download this app. Ugh!

Absolutely worthless. Ranger app in the past was great. Let the NHL take over and now its not worth a you know what.
